To provide our clients with the most environmentally beneficial and cost effective finishing service,
Ripblast will utilise the technology and expertise of the best abrasives and paint manufacturers and
suppliers, ensuring their products are as friendly to the environment as is achievable today and for
tomorrow.
In recognising that our day-to-day operations inevitably impact on the environment in a number of ways,
our aim is to consistently make positive contribution to the environmental wellbeing and conservation of
resources within our business activities, by minimising the potentially harmful effects of such activity
wherever and whenever practically possible.
Ripblast is committed to minimising the impact of its operation on the environment by adoption of a
programme of continuous improvement, led by theWorks Director whose responsibility is the ongoing
development and evaluation of such a programme. All employees are encouraged to understand,
contribute to and implement our common belief in the environmental wellbeing of our staff, their
workplace and the environs.
To pursue our continuing drive for quality in all that we do, and to help us achieve BS EN ISO 14001, we
have developed a strategy which will enable us to regularly monitor and improve our performance.
Specifically, we will:
- - meet, and where appropriate exceed, the requirement of relevant legislation
- - promote recycling and the use of recycled materials, while reducing consumption of material
wherever possible
- - minimise waste in all our operations
- - reduce and consolidate transportation of goods to optimise journeys and reduce fuel consumption
- - where possible, utilise alternative materials with less hazardous constituents
- - always encourage environmental awareness in our market, and lead by example
